Data Analyst – Data Quality, Governance & Access
In the Digital Business Banking domain, this role supports the capabilities to retrieve, store and validate customer data for retail and business clients. Reliable customer data underpins onboarding, servicing and regulatory reporting. The work focuses on monitoring, improving and safeguarding customer data quality across the bank.
Your role
As a Data Analyst, you improve and protect the quality of customer data by defining and applying data quality rules and controls. You analyze data issues such as duplicates, missing or incorrect information, and identify root causes across processes and systems. You drive structural improvements by collaborating with upstream and downstream teams, and you support data consumers by helping stakeholders use customer data effectively.
You translate business needs into clear data requirements and user stories, taking ownership of data quality improvement topics. You contribute to prioritization together with stakeholders across multiple domains. You also increase data awareness and promote data quality practices within the organization.
Your team
You work within the value space “Data Quality, Governance and Access”, part of a set of squads responsible for customer data services used across the organization. The teams comprise Customer Journey Experts, Data Analysts and IT engineers. Collaboration spans domains such as onboarding, customer due diligence and customer servicing, where accurate customer data is critical.
To succeed, you combine analytical thinking with a product mindset. You work independently while staying connected to your team, and you take initiative to move data quality topics forward based on insights.

- Have strong analytical skills and make decisions based on data and insights
- Be proficient in SQL and experienced in working with large datasets
- Have hands-on experience with Power BI for building dashboards and visualizing insights
- Be familiar with analytical tools such as Python (pandas) and/or Excel for deeper data analysis
- Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights that drive impact
- Take ownership within your domain and proactively drive improvements
- Thrive in multidisciplinary, agile teams
- Be fluent in Dutch and English (both verbal and written)
