A Solution Architect will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for establishing an Enterprise Repository that connects information across the organization and turns it into actionable insights. The repository links information about business processes, applications, technology assets, controls, risks, assessments, architecture, and configuration management, creating visibility into relationships and dependencies that drive change.
The Solution Architect shapes, selects, implements, and evolves this capability in collaboration with Product Owners, business stakeholders, enterprise and business architects, tech leads, and delivery teams. The role focuses on translating business and regulatory requirements into architectural solutions that support dependency understanding, impact assessment, compliance, and scenario planning for transformation initiatives and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
The Solution Architect develops solution outlines and project start architectures, defines information modelling and governance principles, and provides architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment with target architectures and agreed standards. The role supports the selection and development of repository capabilities, including requirements definition, market assessments, proof-of-concepts, and guidance for implementation, migration, integration, and continuous improvement. In addition, the architect contributes to capabilities for impact analysis and “what-if” scenario modelling by enabling visibility across related processes, applications, assets, and risk and control information.
The role includes close collaboration with stakeholders across business and technology domains to communicate architectural principles and roadmaps, support adoption, and drive continuous improvement. Work is performed on-site in Utrecht (general area), within the organization’s delivery and governance environment.
