Senior Project Manager role focused on delivering strategic change within the operations and corporate functions of a large regulated financial institution. The assignment supports organisational maturity and discipline by coordinating complex programmes and ensuring transformation activities are aligned with strategy and governance, well-coordinated, and executed in a controlled manner in a fast-evolving regulatory and organisational landscape.
The Senior Project Manager works within a dedicated change function and is part of a senior leadership support structure. The role collaborates with programme managers and project management colleagues and contributes across a wider operations domain.
Role and responsibilities
Drive the execution of complex, cross-functional and high-risk change initiatives across the operations domain. Act as a key connector between strategy, governance and delivery to ensure controlled implementation. Work with senior stakeholders and contribute to supervisory interactions on operations-relevant topics. Provide organisation-wide insights on audit themes and support the strengthening of overall organisational maturity.
Contribute to structural improvement areas such as clarifying roles within the operations departments, improving cross-domain insight and overview, and supporting the development of clear, measurable risk indicators.
Facilitate steering and decision-making for cross-domain topics, ensure timely escalation and resolution of cross-domain risks, and drive benefits realisation for regulatory change initiatives in line with portfolio priorities. Coach programme managers and project management colleagues to strengthen delivery capability across complex transformations.

- Academic degree with at least 8 years of experience in complex programme management within Financial Services
- 5+ years of leadership experience in cross-functional, high-stakes change environments
- Proven experience with programme management frameworks and tools such as MSP, PRINCE2 and Agile at scale
- The candidate has to be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment
- All submitted candidates must be in possession of a valid passport or ID card, which must be taken along to the interview and at the start of the assignment
