Senior DevOps Engineer / Senior IAM Engineer in a team responsible for Identity & Access Management and Identity Governance & Administration. The role focuses on analyzing, remediating, improving, and automating IAM services in a complex and regulated environment, with an emphasis on control effectiveness, evidencing, and sustainable service improvement.
The assignment strengthens existing IAM/IGA services to make them more effective, more controllable, and more scalable. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of IAM solutions, structural remediation of control deficiencies, and automation of service and control activities. The work supports a shift from reactive control support to sustainable and predictable delivery of compliant IAM services.
The engineer contributes to IAM services that support secure provisioning, modification, and revocation of access. The focus is on improving service quality, reducing manual activities, strengthening control effectiveness, and enabling automation that supports user-friendly IAM journeys and predictable control execution. Collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, IAM Risk & Compliance, and fellow engineers is central to translating control findings and service weaknesses into backlog-ready improvements.
This is a senior engineering role that combines service remediation, technical improvement, and control automation. It contributes to squad maturity by embedding sustainable engineering patterns, improving evidencing and monitoring, and reducing recurring manual effort in both service delivery and control execution.
Key outcomes include remediating existing IAM services and configurations to improve control effectiveness and audit readiness, automating manual service and control activities to increase efficiency and traceability, translating operational issues and technical risks into sustainable engineering improvements, and improving the quality of evidencing and monitoring for IAM services in scope of control execution.
Wensen
- Academic working and thinking level, preferably with a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in remediation and improvement of existing IAM services, rather than only greenfield development.
- Experience with automating manual service activities, control-related activities, or evidencing and monitoring processes.
- Strong communication in English is required.
- Strong complex problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to raise the maturity of others in the team.
