This role supports the design, build, and continuous improvement of customer-facing conversational channels powered by GenAI, including chat, voice, messaging, and other interaction modes. Working within a Conversational AI & CRM function, the engineer provides technical leadership to shape next-generation AI experiences. The position combines hands-on development capability with architectural thinking and an emphasis on enterprise-grade quality, security, and disciplined application lifecycle management.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical direction for GenAI use cases, including grounding, orchestration, safety configurations, and prompt design patterns.
- Drive adoption of best practices in prompt engineering, solution architecture, integration approaches, and RAG-based systems.
- Guide and mentor team members in complex agent builds, reviews, and hands-on troubleshooting.
- Define and implement an ALM strategy for AI assistants and related environments to ensure reliability and repeatability.
- Own AI governance and testing frameworks, including regression testing, LLM evaluation, and end-to-end testing.
- Coordinate with dependent teams to align designs, requirements, and integration needs.
- Represent the team in stakeholder discussions and translate technical insights into business value.
The work is performed in a hybrid environment within a large-scale, customer-focused organization, collaborating across teams to deliver and operate GenAI-driven capabilities.
Eisen

- You have a relevant HBO or university degree
- 6+ years of Data Engineering, Data Science or Software Engineering, of which at least 2 years working Generative AI
- Proven experience building or integrating with conversational AI or agent-based automation
- All submitted candidates must be in possession of a valid Passport or ID card, which must be taken along to the interview and at the start of the assignment
- If the candidate is selected to start, a pre-employment screening will be executed and the candidate is only allowed to start after the pre-employment screening has been completed successfully
- Candidate should be submitted exclusively to the designated party during the exclusivity period of 4 business days on one request
- Suppliers can offer just one candidate for this position. Multiple candidates per supplier are not allowed, all candidates will be rejected
- Further, the candidate has to be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment
