This role supports enterprise architecture for Data & Analytics within a large data and analytics transformation organization. As Area Architect for Enterprise Data Products, you define and drive the target architecture for your area, ensuring alignment with product vision and business needs.
The area focuses on simplifying and standardizing the data landscape and strengthening the foundation required for scalable AI use cases. Responsibilities include building and maintaining an enterprise-wide portfolio of domain-agnostic data products and a shared enterprise data ontology, as well as partnering with business domains to deliver AI-ready data products with relevant, contextualized data. The role also supports industrializing data product delivery through automation, computational governance, and enterprise data product implementation standards.
You lead the area together with an Area Lead and Tech Lead and work closely with solution architects to align on vision and architecture strategy, and to contribute to area roadmaps. You guide teams toward future-proof architecture and help ensure that data and AI products are scalable, delivered in a compliant way, and provide real business value.
Your impact includes setting and communicating strategic direction for data products and AI-ready data, leading and coaching a team of solution architects, and steering architecture input as part of the area leadership team. The role also involves translating emerging developments and innovations into architectural direction that results in tangible business outcomes. Example activities include shaping an architecture vision for AI-ready data products, collaborating to define a shared enterprise data ontology, and mentoring solution architects.
Eisen
- 7+ years in relevant roles, including 3+ years in enterprise or business architecture in a complex data and analytics environment
- Experience in global, multi-business line environments
Wensen
- Strong architecture vision on data products, AI-ready data, and data ontology
- Deep understanding of strategy, capabilities, and value streams - ensuring the business ‘what and why’ precedes the technical ‘how’
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable architectural solutions
- Delivering results in a leadership position, steering the domain together with the business lead and tech lead.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and IT
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills towards solution architects
- Excellent communication skills, from C-level to engineering teams
