This role is within an Agile operations squad responsible for office network services in a large enterprise environment. The team delivers reliable wired and wireless connectivity and supports the ongoing stability of the office network globally. The position is an operational role focused on daily service management rather than project work.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving LAN, WiFi, SD-WAN and authentication-related issues.
- Conduct structured root cause analysis for complex problems.
- Manage operational tickets, service requests and changes independently.
- Review monitoring alerts, assess service impact, and prioritize operational actions.
- Improve automation, monitoring, documentation, and reduce recurring incidents over time.
- Collaborate with the team during Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support release-related testing where applicable.
- Communicate with stakeholders and relevant IT teams, including coordination with suppliers and end-users when needed.
- Participate occasionally in a standby/on-call rotation.
Eisen
- Full-time equivalent (1FTE).
- English mandatory.
- Independent contractor (ZZP) not allowed.
- Experience working within ITIL-based operations (incident/change management).
- Python scripting: reading, modifying, and writing simple scripts.
- Experience with REST APIs and Git.
Wensen
- Experience with Aruba Central, Aruba SD-Branch, and/or Aruba ClearPass (or comparable enterprise networking / SD-WAN / NAC platforms)
- Ability to read logs and troubleshoot authentication/NAC-related issues
- Confident to make configuration or policy changes in network and NAC environments
- Automation mindset: improving operational efficiency using scripting, APIs, or similar
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (e.g. version control, CI/CD concepts)
