As a .NET Software Developer, you develop, enhance, and operate applications that support wealth and risk management for a financial services organization with assets under management exceeding 100 billion. You work in a multidisciplinary Scrum team of eight supporting the investment management area. The team builds and maintains applications, APIs, data gathering capabilities, and user interfaces, with a strong focus on software and data quality and safety due to the high impact of the domain.
In an operations and DevOps-oriented capacity, you enable and support colleagues in securities operations by managing solutions related to middle-office processes such as position keeping and collateral management. You also contribute to a foundation that exposes holdings and transactions data to other teams, supporting cross-team data and platform needs.
Alongside development, you provide technical support for product-related questions and assist with BAU issues for the operations domain. You participate in breaking down product challenges, gathering requirements, designing solutions, making architectural decisions, and discussing options with stakeholders.
Working environment
The position is located in a specific region of the Netherlands (generalized from the original posting) and is performed within a collaborative Agile Scrum team environment.
Eisen
- Bachelor/Masters degree with at least 5 years of recent experience with C# /.NET development.
- Experience with Cloud and relational databases (i.e. SQL).
- Experience with API design (REST) and automated testing.
Wensen
- An interest in understanding financial markets & processes.
- Knowledge of OAUTH2 protocol, Python and containers would be a bonus.
- A drive to learn and experiment.
